We are seeking for skilled Mechanical Engineers with experience in Frame 5 gas turbines to join our regional reaction force team. This team will be based at a customer location throughout the summer peak and hurricane season. The role involves working with a diverse team to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of Frame 5 Peaker units.

Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment, and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation.
- Perform maintenance activities for Frame 5 units, including inspections and repairs.
- Conduct maintenance of Boiler Feed Pumps (BFP), vertical pumps, boilers, steam turbines, gas turbines, and generators.
- Provide technical support and guidance to local and non-local team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Document and report all maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Ability and willingness to work in rotating shifts, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments.

- Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required.

- Machinery knowledge
- Experience and training on Alstom, Siemens or other OEM equipment.
- Pipe fitting and tubing experience.
Qualifications
- Technical/University degree or qualifying experience OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Field Services role.
- 5+ years of experience in a field services or power generation equipment maintenance position with Frame 5 units.
- Proficient in English, Spanish or French (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Successful completion of required TFA II training programs is a minimum requirement.
- Qualified level. Has the knowledge and skill to actively support field service activities and be aware of where to seek answers to questions as they arise. Has experienced successful installations.
- Solid understanding of Gas Turbine Operation & Controlling Parameters.
- Strong technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required.
- Strong oral and written interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Extensive Field Engineering Services experience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Basic knowledge of HSE, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and OHSAS 18001.
