The Division of Gastroenterologyand Hepatology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois atChicago is seeking faculty members at or above any rank (from instructor toprofessor and rank/tenure is commensurate with experience) with academicinterests in clinical gastroenterology. University of Illinois at Chicago is a top-tier public university. Anexcellent Gl fellowship program, state-of-the-art brand-new endoscopy suite andclinic which opened in October 2022, and a wide breadth of clinical and basicscience expertise in the division makes this an excellent opportunity for Glfellows graduating from a strong university program, or a mid-careergastroenterologist who is interested in teaching and clinical research as afaculty member. MD or DO or equivalentdegree is required. Candidates should beBC/BE in gastroenterology and hepatology; and eligible to work in Illinois.Candidates could be general gastroenterologists, have a clinical focus ingastrointestinal motility or inflammatory bowel disease. Academic productivityis expected and candidates with an interest in scholarly activity and teachingtrainees are encouraged to join our established program. Qualifications:
