Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking our innovative General Manager for Environmental Services for our University account at Point Loma Nazarene in San Diego, CA, on the beautiful Pacific Coastline! The GM will be responsible for contract oversight, financial oversight, and management Environmental Services/custodial services for over 1M sq ft campus, up to 60 buildings including Residence Halls, 3 Regional Centers/satellite campuses. A critical role for this GM is developing a trusting client relationship through regular communication (written, email, calls and in person), and developing, mentoring and training staff for ongoing professional development. Salary is on the high end of the posted range.

What You Bring

  • Expertise in client relationships
  • Expert proficiency technology and software
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
  • 3-5 years previous custodial or housekeeping director level experience in a large complex or environment
  • Strong leadership skills and self-initiative to independently to drive program compliance target achievement
  • Expert ability to motivate our team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a housekeeping system
  • Lead through data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading committees and change management
