We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead distribution and sales support within the region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring the company's strategic goals are met. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. The General Manager will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company by aligning operations with the overall business strategy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and Implement Strategies:
Formulate and execute strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
Collaborate with the executive team to set company performance targets and KPIs.
Identify market trends and opportunities to expand market presence and customer base.

Oversee Daily Operations:
Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient use of budgets, resources, and personnel.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of employees to meet operational goals.
Ensure operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.

Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
Foster a customer-centric culture to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and manage high-level negotiations.

Compliance:
Ensure regional operations complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Data-Driving Decision Making:
Analyze data and performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilize business intelligence tools to monitor and report on key performance indicators.

Leadership and Collaboration:
Direct leadership over 3-4 team members and have indirect leadership over a team of 4-8 people.
Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers to align operational and sales strategies.
Cultivate collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork

Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or customer satisfaction

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management or related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Proven experience in a general management role, preferably within the stone surfaces or related industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities

. Ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Thorough understanding of business compliance and regulatory requirements.
Financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial reporting.
Proficiency in using business software and tools for data analysis, reporting and communication.

Projected hiring range for this role is between $103K to $128K plus team result based performance bonus opportunities.
