Job Duties:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
Business Development/Sales/Marketing
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
- Responsible for customer relationship and business development in assigned region.
- Secures involvement of other Company personnel to assist in sales efforts as needed.
- Participates in specific sales initiatives and account activities.
- Provide support to outside sales professionals and customer service representatives.
- Must work as a team player with entire sales team as well as other functional areas.
- Must be knowledgeable of product offering.
- Assist in development and execution of a market plan to drive market share growth, and to identify and target specific new customers. Identify resources needed to promote market growth and build business case to support the strategy.
- Direct account management for assigned customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute regional marketing strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Operational Management
- Co-responsibility of Operational Assets: Inventory & Vehicles, ensuring all are managed efficiently.
- Review & assist in implementation of operational procedures and policies as set out by the company.
- Works closely with other functional areas to ensure an aligned approach in the region to ensure customer satisfaction and business objectives are achieved.
- Must have good working knowledge of ERP system as well as vendor order systems.
- Advocate compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Assist with accounts receivables are responded to efficiently and timely.
- Ensure all regional facilities are maintained properly.
- Safety-advocate and assist thru all phases of Safety: Training, implementation, Accident reporting, root cause analysis.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.
Reporting and Analysis
- Provide regular reports to senior management on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required. Technical or business discipline preferred.
- Strategic business mindset.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Must have minimum of 5 to 8 years of prior experience in petroleum equipment industry. Sales & sales management experience desired.
- Strong customer relations skills needed.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
- PC proficiency in MS Office and proven ability within an ERP environment.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.
- Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
