ATCO STRUCTURES AND LOGISTICS (USA) INC. ("ASL-USA") is seeking a General Manager, PMC (Permanent Modular Construction) The role of General Manager is responsible for providing direction to the US organization through the development and implementation of short- and long-term objectives, plans and policies. This position reports to the VP, Modular (USA).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the management team in the development, manufacture, promotion and sale of ATCO Structures' products and services in the USA.
  • Ensure that appropriate processes and controls are in place to identify, manage and monitor business opportunities and risks.
  • Direct operations to achieve/surpass budgeted earnings results.
  • Ensure the organization is positioned for future activities through effective communication, employment, training and development, succession planning and performance management.
  • Ensure that operational activities are performed in compliance with local and national laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that appropriate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are developed, implemented, practiced and enforced within ATCO Structures and Logistics USA
  • Ensure company policies are uniformly understood and properly interpreted and administered throughout the organization.
Represent the organization in its relationships with major clients, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, bankers, professional societies, industry associations and other similar groups.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college/university in Business Administration, Construction Science, or similar discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years working in modular industry is required
  • Exceptional organization skills.
  • Excellent communicator, both with external and internal clients.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently.
Position will require the ability to travel via air or vehicle: 50% of the time. Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Position may require that the employee work long hours, up to twelve (12) hours per day
