Position Summary: The MRO General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul services supporting the customers in the Americas region. Provides leadership and manages a skilled workforce that meets the requirements of the FAA, EASA, TCCA, CAAC and EN9110. Responsible for the FAA Random Drug & Alcohol Program management, induction, and annual MIS report. Manage Industrial & Operational Excellence roadmap through One Safran and Smart MRO 4.0 improvement projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:
o Responsible for the execution of maintenance activities for Safran Nacelles components.
o Accountable for the MRO station's performance and maturity in terms of HSE, Quality, Operational Excellence and Finance, all in line of Safran objectives
o Prepare the mid/long term budget for the station in cooperation with Finance.
o Accountable Manager / Chief Inspector must ensure regulatory compliance of Part 145 repair station is maintained.
o Ensure all activities in MRO are carried out in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements, including Quality Management System, Safety Management System and Annual Operating Plan.
o Develops and maintains scorecard of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and presents results to leadership in formal and informal sessions including quarterly business reviews
o Lead a small and diverse management team ensuring they are effectively empowered, motivated and developed to attain the company goals.
o Work with the Key Account Management team to provide support and knowledge of MRO capabilities to gain customer acceptance and loyalty of MRO business.
o Oversees the processing of all RFQs and RFPs, facilitates and ensures timely response to internal and external customers in alignment with financial and compliance requirements.
o Oversees the process for completing customer orders in accordance with contract/order requirements, timeline, and budget.
o Works with Customer Support Enginee

Knowledge and Skills:
o General understanding of MRO operations, including scheduling, resource planning, maintenance procedures and quality systems.
o Creativity in finding solutions in a dynamic environment in order to meet the assigned objectives
o Customer centric with strong communication skills in English, and ideally in French as well.
o Demonstrated direct report and team leadership experience.
o Highly motivated, self-directed, with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
o Knowledge of applicable regulations and requirements, relevant to the operations and aircraft maintenance requirements.
o Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Aircraft and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM's), Structural Repair Manuals (SRM's) specifications & governmental regulations.
o Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, professionalism, and superior attention to detail.
o Experience in managing operations, including MRO maintenance, quality, safety and production.
o Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
o Ability to effectively articulate market and business needs to senior leadership and direct reports to enable growth and execution.
o Must be willing and able to travel both domestic and international.
