The General Manager's objective is to partner with the Operator to align the business with the corporate purpose "To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A." It is the goal of the General Manager to facilitate an environment that seeks to treat all team members with honor, dignity, and respect. The General Manager will strive to nurture and maximize talent to benefit each individual and the business. The General Manager role is primarily responsible for creating and executing strategies to grow sales and to oversee that the restaurant runs smoothly focusing on Food Quality & Safety, Genuine Hospitality, and Order Accuracy & Speed. The General Manager is always looking for new ways to grow the business, develop emerging leaders, and refine operational systems that enables team members to offer a "REMARK"able experience to all guests.

Requirements
  • Support operational success for both FOH and BOH
  • Develop Team Leaders, Shift Supervisors, and Directors
  • Lead projects and strategic business projects
  • Daily operations cash management
  • Break compliance and adherence to all safety and security procedures
  • Passionately optimistic about our guest experience
  • Cultivate a Food Safety Culture
  • Stay up to date on product rollouts, LTOs, and promotional materials
  • Ensure Stewardship of all resources
  • Track all training progress with New Team Members
  • Facilitate Leader meetings - with the Operator
  • Finds opportunities to be generous with our guest and our team
  • Handles and documents all Team Member coaching, disputes, and corrections with grace and clear communication
  • Engages in immediate problem resolution and short-term plans to correct critical issues
  • Engages in Long-term Planning of 'Layers of Leadership' and business planning


Company Information
In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that's all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
