General Manager

Location: Tyler, TX

Salary: $125,000-$150,000

Responsibilities:

• Ensures quality, efficiency, and achievement of overall business objectives while maintaining operational controls and monitoring KPIs.
• Acts as a cultural champion, ensuring an engaged, satisfied, and highly skilled workforce through leadership and development initiatives.
• Manages financial performance to achieve profitability goals and mitigate organizational risks, including safety, legal, and financial risks.
• Represents the organization externally to maintain alignment with company goals and ensure strong marketplace presence.
• Holds managers accountable for performance KPIs, supports leadership development, encourages interdepartmental communication, and troubleshoots issues.
• Ensures adherence to brand standards, facilitates effective capacity planning, and resolves performance and customer service issues.
• Works with marketing and sales teams on strategies, sales initiatives, key accounts, and service agreements while maintaining valuable external relationships.
• Owns the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), sets budgets, tracks performance against goals, and implements corrective measures as needed.
• Leads improvements, adopts new technologies, identifies expansion opportunities, and explores mergers, acquisitions, and service line expansions.
• Champions employee engagement, succession planning, recognition programs, and career pathway development to foster a strong workplace culture.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years of management experience, preferably within the industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, teams, and leadership while ensuring clear and consistent information flow.
• Proven financial acumen with the ability to analyze trends and adapt to seasonal business changes.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Capable of performing well under pressure and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and utilizing reports to drive informed decision-making.
• Skilled in using computer systems to input, access, modify, and analyze data or execute relevant programs.
• Ability to train, develop, and inspire teams while fostering a positive work culture that aligns with company values.
