Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Oversee operations including production, purchasing, inventory, quality control, engineering, and facilities.
- Drive strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Promote a positive, safety-conscious, and performance-driven work environment.
Production Management
- Manage production schedules to meet delivery goals and cost targets.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure product specifications and standards.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts including lean manufacturing practices.
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to track performance.
- Monitor financial health and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee cost-effective procurement processes.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
- Maintain top-tier product quality that meets customer and compliance standards.
Team Development
- Hire, train, and manage department leaders and key staff.
- Set performance benchmarks and support professional development.
Customer & Vendor Relations
- Align production with customer needs through collaboration with sales and service teams.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing-marine industry experience is a strong plus.
- Proven success in process improvement, operations leadership, and team management.
- Strong financial skills, including P&L responsibility.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with marine manufacturing standards and materials is a bonus.
