Job Summary:
The Hotel Manager at Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch, New Jersey is a key leadership role in the hospitality industry. This is a full time, management position with a primary responsibility of overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of the hotel. The Hotel Manager will work closely with the executive team to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and profitability. This individual must have a passion for exceptional guest service and be able to lead a team to deliver a memorable experience for guests.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package and benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage departments
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals and improve guest satisfaction
- Manage and mentor a team of employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure a high level of service is provided to all guests, addressing any issues that may arise with professionalism and efficiency
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality and cost control
- Maintain and update hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure consistent service standards are met
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a working knowledge of market trends, competition, and industry developments to make strategic decisions
- Ensure all safety and security protocols are followed to provide a safe environment for guests and employees
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel and increase revenue opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the executive team.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management position in the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proven track record of achieving financial goals and improving guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and budgeting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.

In accordance with New Jersey State Legislature (New Jersey Legislature Bill S2310 Sca (1R)) which requires private employers with ten (10) or more employees to include a range of pay for all advertised jobs, promotion, or transfer opportunities. This position pays $180k - $200k/ year dependent on experience.
