Position: General Surgeon

Location: Ottumwa, IA

Job Type: Full-time

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join its established hospital-employed team. With a broad mix of general surgical procedures including endoscopy, a supportive team, and access to DaVinci Robotics, this role is ideal for a surgeon looking to build a rewarding and balanced practice in a welcoming Midwestern community.

Practice Highlights:

• Join a hospital-employed general surgery team with advanced practitioner support
• Perform a full scope of general surgery cases, including bread-and-butter procedures and endoscopy
• Access to DaVinci robotic surgical system and 5 modern ORs
• Work alongside a dedicated surgical staff with a 1,500-case annual volume
• Flexible 10-day-per-month call schedule
• CAP-accredited lab, full post-anesthesia unit, and comprehensive perioperative support

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Eligible for Iowa medical licensure
• Robotics experience is welcomed but not required
