Environmental Consulting & Technology (ECT) is seeking a Geophysicist/Geologist that will play a pivotal role in our environmental consulting team, overseeing geophysical investigations and projects. This individual will be responsible for scoping, planning, and executing geophysical fieldwork, as well as delivering high-quality data analysis and interpretation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in geophysics and geology, coupled with practical experience in environmental consulting.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the scope, budget, and schedule of geophysical projects
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors
- Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
- Develop geophysical survey designs and protocols
- Select appropriate geophysical methods based on project objectives
- Supervise and participate in field data acquisition activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Process and analyze geophysical data using specialized software
- Interpret geophysical results to identify subsurface features and anomalies
- Prepare clear and concise technical reports and presentations
- Collaborate with other team members to integrate geophysical data with geological, hydrological, and environmental information
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatory agencies
- Communicate project progress and findings effectively
- Address client questions and concerns in a professional manner
- Contribute to proposal development and client presentations
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the firm's geophysical services
- Support other environmental needs, including Phase II assessments, remediation tasks, etc.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geophysics or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of geophysical methods, including seismic, electrical resistivity, and electromagnetic surveys.
- Proficiency in geophysical data processing and analysis software (e.g., GeoStudio, ReflexW).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fieldwork experience, including the ability to work in challenging environments.
Job Essentials:
- Valid Driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be self-motivated with sound professional judgement; able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently with little direct supervision
- Primary duties are located within an office or remote office environment with occasional to frequent fieldwork
- Attention to detail, excellent verbal and technical written communication skills
- Flexible and able to juggle multiple projects and changing priorities without missing deadlines or losing sight of project goals
