Leidos is seeking a Geospatial Analyst Senior Advisor to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA's Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA's internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work as a Sr Advisor of a government-contractor team supporting mapping projects utilizing ESRI, Google Earth, and ARC GIS to create varying scale softcopy products Responsible for performing the software engineering function, including the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of geospatial information system(s) for enhancements and new
software-intensive systems and products. Use knowledge of GIS data sources and process to develop enterprise data schemas for customer; create varying scale softcopy products for threat assessments. Create and update relevant documentation and specifications for design, development and testing. Identify potential roadblocks and develop software solutions where the solution is not always well defined but always considers the customer first.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires BS degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience. 8+ years of relevant experience designing, implementing, administering, and using geospatial information system(s) (GIS) and GIS software that includes ESRI, Google Earth, and ARC GIS for systems of similar size, scope, complexity, and operational requirements. One or more DoDD 8140.01 certifications and technical credentials required for privileged/administrative access. Candidate MUST have experience conducting high resolution 3D/stereo feature extraction and creating related geospatial intelligence products (e.g. digital elevation models and orthophoto mosaics) Candidates must have knowledge of and experience using NTM imagery data The successful candidate must be a self-starter and capable of working independently with no supervision Candidate must be able to multitask and deliver quality products within specified timelines Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with team members, customer representatives, external customers, and functional peer groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful completion of a formal military or government training program such as the Geospatial Intelligence Training Program (GITP) is highly desired Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred.

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
