Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing soil, rock, and other materials to design foundations and earth structures. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safety and stability of construction projects by assessing geotechnical risks and providing expert solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations to assess soil and rock properties.
  • Perform materials testing and evaluate construction materials for compliance with specifications.
  • Design and analyze foundations, including shallow and deep systems.
  • Evaluate slope stability and propose solutions for earth retention systems such as retaining walls.
  • Assess seismic risks and provide recommendations for liquefaction and settlement mitigation.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Geotechnical Engineer (GE) license strongly preferred.
  • Strong design skills including retaining walls and shallow/deep foundation design.
  • Knowledge of slope stability evaluations, seismic hazard mitigation, ground improvement techniques, etc.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Pay/Benefits
