Key Responsibilities:
- Perform geotechnical site investigations and analyze subsurface conditions.
- Develop geotechnical engineering solutions for high-rise buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct stability analyses for deep excavations and foundation systems.
- Prepare technical reports, design recommendations, and geotechnical assessments.
- Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.
- Oversee field testing, soil sampling, and laboratory testing programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Provide on-site support during construction phases, addressing geotechnical challenges as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience in geotechnical engineering with a focus on high-rise, bridges, infrastructure, and excavation projects.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, L-Pile, or similar.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and slope stability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one is preferred.
