Nous sommes la recherche d'une personne hautement motive et comptente pour se joindre notre quipe des finances titre de responsable de la relation d'affaires au sein de notre groupe des Services d'affaires de l'entreprise. Dans le cadre de vos fonctions, vous serez responsable d'tablir et de maintenir de solides relations d'affaires avec l'quipe de l'exploitation et les propritaires de magasin. Vous prconiserez les pratiques exemplaires de l'entreprise, vous inculquerez des disciplines de processus solides au sein de l'entreprise et vous travaillerez la mise en uvre de processus communs tout en tenant compte des nuances du march.

Les responsabilits peuvent comprendre, mais sans s'y limiter :
  • tablir et maintenir de solides relations d'affaires avec l'quipe de l'exploitation, les propritaires de magasin et les intervenants tous les niveaux.
  • Inculquer de solides disciplines de processus au sein de l'entreprise afin de mettre en uvre des processus communs et de prconiser les pratiques exemplaires de l'entreprise.
  • Chercher comprendre les nuances du march et encourager les magasins en tenir compte dans les processus d'affaires plus gnraux.
  • Mener rgulirement des rvisions des affaires en respectant les priorits de l'entreprise.
  • Examiner priodiquement les rapprochements des bilans pour s'assurer que tous les lments sont jour.
  • S'assurer que toutes les tches du secteur fonctionnel sont effectues en temps opportun et avec exactitude.
  • Analyser, identifier et recommander des initiatives d'amlioration aux processus et des modifications aux systmes afin d'augmenter la productivit et l'efficacit au sein du dpartement.
  • Planifier et grer toutes les activits de gestion du talent en soutien aux programmes et aux objectifs fonctionnels de Loblaw :
    • Embauche et intgration des employs.
    • Activits de gestion de la performance - tablissement et transmission des objectifs, ralisation des valuations de la performance annuelles et semestrielles, rtroaction sur la performance, attribution des cotes de performance.
    • Encadrement des membres de l'quipe : agir comme mentor et offrir de la rtroaction pour favoriser l'ouverture, la formation continue et un environnement de haut niveau.
  • S'acquitter d'autres tches au besoin.


Le candidat ou la candidate doit dmontrer les comptences et les comportements suivants :
  • Au moins 6 ans d'exprience antrieure pertinente dans l'industrie, ou ventuellement une combinaison d'tudes et d'exprience.
  • Inscription un niveau avanc d'un programme CPA serait un atout.
  • Matrise impeccable du franais et de l'anglais. Comptences en communication orale et crite en franais obligatoires; communication orale et crite efficace en anglais essentielle.
  • Matrise de la suite Microsoft Office, particulirement les feuilles de calcul Excel, les documents Word et les courriels Outlook.
  • Connaissance gnrale de la comptabilit et solides comptences en analyse avec souci du dtail, en rsolution de problmes et en rapprochement de comptes.
  • Exprience reconnue en gestion de personnel et en encadrement; recherche d'une personne qui a la passion de travailler avec les gens.
  • Excellentes capacits d'organisation et de gestion du temps, sens des priorits et capacit mener plusieurs tches quotidiennes dans un environnement exigeant.
  • Capacit travailler sous pression, respecter des chances serres et grer efficacement les priorits.
  • La personne doit montrer l'exemple en adoptant une approche dtermine, nergique et positive.
  • Capacit maintenir un degr lev de confidentialit.
  • Flexibilit pour les dplacements occasionnels partout au Qubec.


Ce poste exige une prsence dans notre bureau de Montral ainsi que des dplacements occasionnels travers le Qubec pour visiter les magasins, renforcer les relations et comprendre les processus locaux.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our finance team as a Finance Relationship Manager, within our Enterprise Business Services group. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with operations and store owners. You will advocate for best enterprise practices, instill strong process disciplines within the business, and work towards achieving common processes while considering market nuances.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with operations, store owners and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Instill strong process disciplines within the business to achieve common processes and advocate for best enterprise practices.
  • Seek understanding of market nuances and advocate on behalf of stores to consider those nuances in the broader business processes.
  • Drive regular business reviews, understanding the priorities of the business.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations on periodic basis to ensure all items are current.
  • Ensure all tasks within the functional area are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Analyze, identify, and recommend process improvement and system modifications to increase productivity and efficiency in the department.
  • Plan and manage all talent management activities in support of Loblaw programs and functional objectives:
    • Hiring and on-boarding employees.
    • Performance Management Activities - goal setting and cascading, completing mid and annual performance reviews, provides performance feedback, assigns performance ratings.
    • Coaches, mentors team members and offers feedback to foster openness, continuous learning, and a high-performance environment.
  • Various other duties as required.


The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and behaviors:
  • Minimum of 6 years previous applicable industry experience, or a combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • Enrollment in an advanced level of the CPA program would be considered an asset.
  • Bilingual in both French and English. Fluent written and verbal communication skills in French is mandatory; effective written and verbal communication in English is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and Outlook email.
  • General Accounting knowledge and strong analytical with attention to detail, problem solving, and reconciliation skills are a must.
  • Proven people management & coaching experience; looking for an individual with a passion to work with people.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask daily activities in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and be able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Individual must lead by example, demonstrating a determined, energetic, and positive approach.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel across Quebec


This role requires an in-office presence at our Montreal office as well as occasional travel across Quebec to visit stores, strengthen relationships and understand local processes.
