Job Description:
- Provide inpatient services under the supervision and responsibility of a physician as a GI Hospitalist covering 3 hospitals
- 7 on 7 off Schedule, with 4 additional weeks of PTO
- Supported by a team of 9 GI Physician's and 5 APP's
- GI Physician available at all times to consult on acute patients and to perform procedures
- Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience is preferred but willing to train
Required Qualifications:
- State Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Gastrointestinal experience preferred
- Inpatient rounding experience preferred
