To that end, we are seeking a Gift-In-Kind Manager to drive growth and coordination of air and logistics donations..

Position Summary

The Gift-In-Kind Manager will develop and manage relationships with airlines and logistics companies with the intent of increasing gift-in-kind contributions of passenger and cargo flights and other support for Airlink's mission. The position reports to the Vice President of Development with significant collaboration with the humanitarian programs team, development staff, CEO, Board members, and volunteers to identify and manage strategic in-kind giving opportunities to increase Airlink's ability to deliver humanitarian cargo and responders for its nonprofit partners serving crisis-impacted communities globally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement account management plans across Airlink's gift-in-kind portfolio (includes airlines, logistics partners, and additional in-kind partners).
  • Orchestrate the utilization of staff, board members, and other volunteers in the development and management of airline and logistics company relationships.
  • Manage distribution of responsibilities across departments, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables completed, including:

    • Coordinate with Airlink's development team and CEO on prospecting and solicitation activities related to airlines and logistics companies, management of key event attendance, and tracking of agreement cycles.
    • Coordinate with Airlink's program team to identify airline and logistics company prospects and ensure timely delivery of disaster-timed and periodic (quarterly, annual) impact reports.
    • Coordinate with Airlink's communications team to develop collateral and support airline and logistics partnerships through communications platforms, including the website and social media.
  • Support proposals and presentations for prospective and existing partners as needed.
  • Track gift-in-kind donations, donor reporting, and agreements.
  • Ensure all gift-in-kind relationship management activities and gift-in-kind opportunities are accurately tracked in Salesforce and Monday.com.
  • Track and report metrics used to determine progress toward airline and logistics partnerships/gift-in-kind goals.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience + High School diploma.
  • 5+ years of fundraising or relevant experience
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of gift-in-kind donors and developing reports for external audiences.

  • Comfort managing up and across teams.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Additionally, Airlink provides a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to:

Location

Airlink is headquartered in downtown Washington, D.C. and operates a hybrid work schedule with the team in-office three days a week. Given the collaborative nature of this position, we are primarily considering candidates who are in or willing to relocate to the Washington, D.C. area. Highly qualified candidates will be considered for remote opportunities.
