Title: GIS Technology Architect

Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced GIS Technology Architect for large GIS projects for the Energy Industry Clients. This is hands-on position. LOGIC Solutions Group is Houston's leading GIS Consulting firm with exciting projects that focus on providing key geospatial solutions to our clients. This role is challenging and rewarding. You'll get to use many of the Esri Enterprise products and problem-solving skills to deliver critical GIS tools and implementations. You'll be expected to continually grow and master new skills to contribute to a team with diverse skillsets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivers complex solutions to issues which might include but are not limited to: Architecture, Configuration, Security, Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Infrastructure etc.
• Responsible for all technical aspects of the GIS solution
• Acts as the development technical lead
• Provides the physical solution design.
• Drives and delivers strategic architecting & implementation using Esri and Microsoft technologies
• Recommends how specific technologies, standards, methods, and techniques are to be used throughout the solution delivery.
• Gathers and analyses spatial and other project requirements
• Conducts technology evaluations
• Initiates project technical environments including code repositories and build strategy
• Produces technical solution design and physical design and implements the physical design
• Administers and troubleshoots Enterprise GIS

Required Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Geography, GIS, or MIS
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills required
• 8+ years of ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro with analysis and data modeling
• 5+ years of hands-on ArcGIS Enterprise (aka - Portal) installation experience
• 5+ years of ArcGIS Enterprise administration including backups, configuration, and maintenance with scripts
• 5+ years of Python scripts or FME workbenches creation for complex ETL processes
• Hands-on JavaScript web app and ArcGIS Web AppBuilder widget development experience of 7+ years with ArcGIS API for JavaScript
• 5+ years of ASP.NET core or web development in C# with Visual Studio or relevant IDE expertise
• 3+ years of SQL database administration and stored procedure creation experience including SDE configuration
• Experience with Cloud rollout of ArcGIS Enterprise
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps for project tracking and CI/CD pipeline
• 5+ years of IT System Administration, managing web servers, active directory and groups, firewall and ports, VPN

Desired Qualifications:

• Domain knowledge of GIS in Oil & Gas and public sector organizations
• Knowledge of industry standard database models
• Demonstrated experience related to Emerging Technology

• Location: Houston, TX 77042 (must be located in Houston, or willing to relocate prior to starting)
• Onsite / Hybrid: will be onsite 3 days a week
