Join the dynamic team at the Phoenix Police Department's Information Technology Bureau as an Information Technology Analyst Programmer II (GIS Developer)! In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in enhancing and supporting the department's cutting-edge Geographic Information System (GIS) environment, working with powerful ArcGIS applications, maintaining datasets, and building sophisticated map packages. You'll also be a key player in providing top-tier end-user support and training for GIS applications, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Records Management Systems (RMS) related to GIS data. You'll also have the opportunity to provide backup support to the GIS Administrator, ensuring the seamless operation of critical systems. SALARY
Pay Range: $67,849.60 to $110,510.40 annually.
Hiring Range: $67,849.60 to $100,235.20 annually.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Ability to:
- Maintain databases such as SQL (Structured Query Language) or SDE (Software Defined Environment).
- Work with ArcGIS products and tools.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS server management including upgrades and applying patches.
SALARY
Pay Range: $67,849.60 to $110,510.40 annually.
Hiring Range: $67,849.60 to $100,235.20 annually.
Pay Range Explanation:
- Pay range is the entire compensation range for the position classification.
- Hiring range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of experience in computer applications programming and development and systems analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

- Some positions require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
- Experience:
- Using ESRI ArcGIS products and tools including Experience Builder and ArcGIS portal.
- With building GIS models, maps, and layers.
- Desktop support experience with ESRI ArcGIS products.
- Database experience using SQL, PL/SQL, TSQL, writing SQL statements, stored procedures, and functions.
