MarqVision is a B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup founded out of Harvard, accelerated at Y-Combinator, and backed by Softbank Ventures Asia. We offer an AI-powered intellectual property (IP) protection platform that helps brands automatically detect and remove counterfeits from global online marketplaces and social media platforms. Currently, various global brands are using MarqVision to protect their IP.
MarqVision employs its proprietary deep-learning-based AI algorithm to detect IP-infringing products online. We then employ our bot-powered auto-reporting technology and legal expertise to take down infringements efficiently and effectively. Finally, we provide our clients some key performance metrics to help them devise IP legal strategy in a data-driven way.
About the role - Account Executive, North America
Our Account Executives work to help global brands, from luxury to boutique street fashion, to solve their online and offline counterfeit challenges using MarqVision's innovative products and services. You will be working with Sales Leadership in North America to help brands catch bad actors who are causing brands millions of dollars in fraud, lost sales and diminished brand equity every year..
As a deal-closing rep, you will help boost revenues through sales initiatives targeted at prospects in the North American Market. You will be responsible for:

About the role - Account Executive, North America

You will be working with Sales Leadership in North America to help brands catch bad actors who are causing brands millions of dollars in fraud, lost sales and diminished brand equity every year..
As a deal-closing rep, you will help boost revenues through sales initiatives targeted at prospects in the North American Market. You will be responsible for:
- Advising prospective customers on our customized solutions
- Demonstrating how our products help remove counterfeit products and catch bad actors
- Running effective business meetings and demo sessions with potential customers
- Closing business with prospective customers
- Coordinating with the Sales Development Representative on outbound sales campaigns
- Coordinating with our Account Management team to execute upsells
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of prior sales experience in a closing role for a B2B SaaS company
- Ability to self-prospect (you will also get support from SDR's). This is an outbound sales role
- Used to working a 3-6 month sales cycle with ACV's from $50-$150k
- Strong track record of achieving or going beyond quarterly sales quotas
- Experience running sales meetings with senior-level executives
- Native Level of English and other secondary languages will be a plus.
Bonus Points
- Experience selling to fashion, retail, and luxury brands
- Experience selling to SMB/SME's in North America
- Interest in or past experience within Intellectual Property
- Knowledge of MEDDICC
