The Global IT Manager leads the division's IT function, setting strategy and ensuring alignment with simplification, ensures cybersecurity, and partners with leadership to implement innovative, cost-effective technology solutions. A strong focus on strategy, infrastructure, ERP systems, and vendor management is key. In this role you will have direct and indirect responsibility for Global IT team members.

Compensation Information:
The compensation package for the role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $135K - $150K annually. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan.

A strong focus on strategy, infrastructure, ERP systems, and vendor management is key. In this role you will have direct and indirect responsibility for Global IT team members.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Partner with divisional leadership team (DLT) and actively participate with leadership in strategy development.
- Lead global IT operational and strategic planning and ensuring that the correct IT team structure is in place to meet the needs of the Division.
- Create and execute on long term vision to simplify division technology footprint through system consolidations where appropriate.
- Own the long-range and annual strategic plan development for the IT function. Identify implications for IT strategy along with recommendations to support longer-term business growth.
- Assessment of IT talent and managed service providers; where required identify and implement changes to the IT organizational support model to address division IT needs.
- Own and manage the divisional IT Budget and drive for cost savings.
- Use the ITW Toolbox (80/20, USa, etc.) to analyze and implement the Division's processes and identify simplification opportunities.
Technology Operations & Oversight:
- Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
- Manage financial aspects of the IT Department, including purchasing and budgeting.
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
- Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including architecture, cyber security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
- Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcing, and consultant contracts and service agreements.
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and end-user services.
- Manage ERP/CRM platforms and other business-critical applications across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and implement new technology solutions.
- Lead IT staffing efforts and manage team performance and development.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and actively manage risk and security initiatives in line with the ITW Cybersecurity Framework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or business administration and 10+ years related work experience in the IT field
- Strong background in IT strategy development, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity.
- Proven success managing ERP systems and supporting cross-functional business teams
- Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and optimizing a global IT function.
- Experience leading and managing and IT function; including personnel and budget is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge in of network and operating systems
- Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards
- Business-oriented mindset with the ability to translate needs into technology solutions.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development and an ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues/solutions are required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to move fluidly between and communicate easily with executives and technical and non-technical professionals across business functions.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a growth focused manner.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally where required up to 15% of the time.
