Position Overview:

An experienced leader in digital education and learning technologies, who will manage Convatec's digital medical education platform. The Global Medical Education Digital Platform Manager will execute the strategy for Convatec's digital medical education, ensuring engaging and innovative education solutions for healthcare professionals. This role will focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical education for a wide range of health care providers, together with our Global Medical Education Digital Content Managers. The role ensures ongoing evolution of the digital platform, incorporating new technologies, ensuring accessibility, compliance, clinical and educational impact, and excellent user experience. The role will orchestrate necessary capabilities and objectives from various stakeholders to strategically align the platform with clinical, education, technology and commercial objectives, as well as taking a hands-on role in management of the platform. Strong background in digital learning technologies, education and LMS program/platform management is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy & Platform Development
  • Execute the digital medical education strategy aligned with corporate objectives and market needs.
  • Support MACA leadership in delivery of the Digital Medical Education Platform project roadmap
  • Guide and advise cross-functional teams to ensure functionality and integration of IT, CRM, marketing and user experience to meet platform goals.
  • Stay ahead of digital learning trends, ensuring innovative and effective content delivery, and advising stakeholders within the company on best practices.


Digital Medical Education Platform Management
  • Oversees the ongoing design, development, deployment and management of the digital education platform.
  • Collaborates with the team for content creation (videos, e-learning modules, interactives) in collaboration with medical experts and marketing, ensuring that content and the front page are regularly updated and stay exciting.
  • Ensure platform usability and a seamless user experience for HCPs (across multiple devices).
  • Work with IT and external vendors to ensure current and future integrations of the Learning Management System (LMS) platform with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), webinars and other digital technologies such as AI, AR/VR solutions.
  • Ensure necessary processes are in place and rolled out to deliver and manage effective, consistent and high-quality digital education via the platform (LMS).
  • Maintain documentation for the LMS/digital medical education platform, such as the Admin Handbook and Customer FAQs.
  • Oversee the LMS mailbox, to triage user enquiries or issues and ensure they are directed via the appropriate route.
  • Provide market intelligence on digital education offerings in the medical device space to ensure ongoing differentiation of the Convatec medical education offering.
  • Training
  • Establish and lead the LMS and digital medical education platform training program within Convatec, ensuring relevant employees understand their role and responsibilities.
  • Provide support to future in-market Medical Education and Clinical employees who will act as LMS administrators within a local market.
  • Provide training and support to any future external collaborators, such as hospital managers or administrators, for localised digital education programs.
  • Data-Driven Performance Optimization
  • Establish KPIs and analytics to measure engagement, learning outcomes, and impact on clinical adoption.
  • Use data insights to continuously improve content effectiveness and user engagement.
  • Manage LMS dashboards to ensure oversight and dissemination of key KPIs and analytics to stakeholders.


  • Engagement & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Provide updates on KPIs and analytics to stakeholders, including working with the Global Medical Education Digital Content Managers and Medical Education/Clinical Specialists, to ensure that the digital content strategy meets customer needs.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to ensure effective and compliant integration and use of medical education data within the CRM.
  • Partner with the Global Medical Education Digital Content Managers and Medical Education/Clinical Specialists, to ensure execution of KOL engagement strategies for digital education, including expert-led sessions and case-based.
  • Partner with the Global Medical Education Digital Content Managers and Medical Education/Clinical Specialists to execute digital strategies to foster relationships with societies and academic institutions to enhance content credibility.
  • Budget Management
  • Manage budget and vendor contracts for LMS platform
  • Required standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and industry standards (e.g., FDA, EU MDR, AdvaMed, MedTech Europe), including ensuring that content published has been through the required internal Medical, Regulatory and Legal review process.
  • Ensure platform and its content meets required accessibility standards
  • Ensure platform and its content meet Convatec's branding guidelines


Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with learning management systems (LMS) or digital education platforms, with strong understanding of learning technologies and pedagogical / instructional design principles.
  • Experience of analytics tools to track engagement and learning effectiveness.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and leadership.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
    • Data-driven mindset with a passion for innovation in education.


Qualifications/Education:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Education, or related field.

Travel Requirements: 10%
