Position Description
- Develop and achieve the revenue budget in the area of Oncology & Precision Diagnostics with a focus on companion diagnostics assays from tissue and plasma in a wide range of cancers
- Actively support sales in order to reach budget
- Work in interdisciplinary project teams towards the development of new IVD products
- Develop and implement the marketing plan in collaboration with regional marketing, monitor and coordinate the implementation of marketing activities according to the plan
- Assess market demands and user needs and develop market entry strategies for new products
- Manage product launches including training of trainers and toolbox for training, work with Marketing Centers of Excellence to produce marketing and technical literature on time and in budget
- Product Maintenance: ongoing care and support of product line, including monitoring customer satisfaction, competitor activity, new customer needs and sales support materials, product changes
Position Requirements
- Scientific degree, PhD and/or MBA degree is a plus
- Good knowledge of PCR dPCR and NGS assay technologies
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in sales or marketing of IVD products in the designated application area, previous experience with companion diagnostics products preferred
Personal Requirements
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage both, complex personal tasks and team work
- Experienced in time and project management
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English, good knowledge of a second language is a plus
