Scope

Oversee Global Supply Chain and Enterprise Applications architecture design, solution delivery, and technology transformation across platforms, applications, and data, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

Essential Functions

• Lead Architecture definition and provide architecture assurance for complex, strategic business outcome

• Create the "to-be" technology blueprint, develop solutions roadmap and phased implementation approach to achieve strategic business objectives

• Define end to end architecture (platform, application and data), design solution and work with business for integrations and consolidation aligning to core business processes and go to market processes

• Ensure adherence to EA standards and principles to proposed architecture and solutions

• Will be the "go-to" Subject Matter expert (SME) for Sysco's Global Supply Chain and Enterprise Applications technology across multiple platforms.

• Analyze existing technology issues and propose short, mid and long-term solutions

• Evangelize the "to-be" technology stack with relevant business and technology stakeholders

• Evaluate new technologies and create proposals for their adoption based on business goals, investments, benefits and risks

• Work with other Enterprise Architects (including Data, Infrastructure, Supply Chain and Security architects) and Tech Leads to ensure that application and integration architecture aligns with system design guidelines and enterprise architecture standards.

• Foster innovation and implement creative out-of-the-box ideas by conducting brainstorming sessions, hackathons and other innovation events

• Perform impact analysis and risk identification for Global Supply Chain and Enterprise Applications initiatives, including acquisitions, strategic programs and change initiatives

• Transform requirements into detailed solution architecture deliverables for strategic initiatives within the assigned functional area.

• Coach, mentor and guide solution delivery and operations teams to effectively leverage the technology footprint.

• Lead development of patterns, tools and frameworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance of technical solutions

• Experience of adopting/adapting multiple enterprise architectural methodologies and frameworks (e,g, TOGAF, Zachman, Gartner, etc.), relevant industry associations and reference models (e.g. DMBOK, APCQ, etc.)

• Establish relationships with architects, peers, developers and stakeholder groups within IT and business teams to define and communicate the target architecture, solution design and transformation plans for assigned initiatives.

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• 15+ years of cumulative work experience

• 10+ years of relevant architecture experience

• 10+ years of hands-on technical experience

• Broad and deep experience in Global Supply Chain and Enterprise Applications processes and related technical solutions

• Experience architecting and building enterprise solutions using modern cloud technologies like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS services

• Familiarity with application integration technologies and architecture patterns

• In-depth data architecture knowledge and experience with an understanding of master/core data management, account/customer data hierarchies, data quality and data migration tools and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps environments strongly preferred.

• Hands-on experience working with ERPs stack, business applications and data integration platforms and tools

• Experience training, mentoring and developing technical and functional skills of team members

• Experience with enterprise software development recommended practices in application development environments

• Practical exposure to software scalability, performance, and resiliency optimization techniques in mission-critical applications

• Certified Cloud Architect is a big plus
