WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze and advise on the tax implications of business activities, playing a vital role in shaping the company's strategic tax planning and executing high-value tax strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the company's foreign tax position, while coordinating with US tax issues.
  • Partner in providing oversight to local country finance teams on foreign audits and work to proactively resolve all foreign tax disputes.
  • Lead international tax aspects of merger and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations.
  • Provide oversight for all non-US compliance and US international tax compliance.
  • Lead non-US tax accounting and reporting efforts.
  • Keep abreast of tax legislation and developments. Devise strategies to address changes in tax law.
  • Foster continuous improvement, technical expertise, and best practices and processes.
  • Maintain and enhance strong working relationships with accounting, legal, and treasury functions, as well as with the operating divisions.


YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required; CPA and advanced degree (either Master's in Taxation or JD) is strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of tax planning and compliance experience required with at least 8 years of experience working for or with large, U.S.-based, multinational manufacturing organizations, with increasing levels of responsibility after successfully working in a professional services environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with multinational teams, including the ability to work effectively across cultures. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a true desire to help others succeed.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills coupled with strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities across different functional areas and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with Business Leaders and Senior Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, and successfully conclude change.
