The role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Golang Tech Lead to join our engineering team. As a Golang Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and architecture of our Golang-based applications. This includes mentoring team members and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, consistent design patterns and secure applications using Golang.
  • Define, design and implement architectural solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Prioritize the technical backlog, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term technical debt reduction.
  • Optimize applications to improve performance.
  • Work with the DevOps team to formalize the CI/CD process.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering learning and continuous improvement culture.
Who you are
  • Hold Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Tech Lead Experience.
  • Deep expertise in Golang and its ecosystem, including libraries, frameworks, and tools.
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems.
  • Understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, code reviews, and testing, is exceptional.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technical projects.
  • Experienced in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and have a strong understanding of data modeling and query optimization.
  • Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred skills
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with other programming languages like Python, Java, or C++.
  • Understanding of frontend technologies and frameworks.
