We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Golang Tech Lead to join our engineering team. As a Golang Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and architecture of our Golang-based applications. This includes mentoring team members and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, consistent design patterns and secure applications using Golang.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Golang Tech Lead to join our engineering team. As a Golang Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and architecture of our Golang-based applications. This includes mentoring team members and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You will
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, consistent design patterns and secure applications using Golang.
- Define, design and implement architectural solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Prioritize the technical backlog, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term technical debt reduction.
- Optimize applications to improve performance.
- Work with the DevOps team to formalize the CI/CD process.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering learning and continuous improvement culture.
- Hold Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Tech Lead Experience.
- Deep expertise in Golang and its ecosystem, including libraries, frameworks, and tools.
- Extensive experience building and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, code reviews, and testing, is exceptional.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technical projects.
- Experienced in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and have a strong understanding of data modeling and query optimization.
- Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred skills
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with other programming languages like Python, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of frontend technologies and frameworks.
