The Google Cloud Alliance Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships with Google Cloud across the EMEA region. This role is pivotal in driving mutual business growth, amplifying brand loyalty, and ensuring the alignment of mutual objectives with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Management
- Maintain and foster a robust strategic partnership with Google Cloud Partner teams across EMEA working with Partner Development Manager and Partner Sales Manager teams.
- Ensure alignment between HCLTech objectives and Google Cloud's strategic initiatives as defined in our Joint Business Plan.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Google Cloud ecosystem, with a particular focus on Gen AI and Agentic.
- Develop detailed understanding of Google Cloud funding programs and where to apply these.
- Enable teams across HCLTech to maximise impact and create additional opportunities and revenue.
- Maximise funding opportunities across customer, marketing and GTM.
- Report on usage and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, pre-sales, CoE to leverage Google Cloud technologies effectively.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute joint marketing campaigns and co-branded events, focusing on alignment and co-ordination with Google Cloud marketing calendar
- Lead local and regional events that highlight and amplify the value of the partnership to HCLTech, to Google Cloud and ultimately to our clients.
- Monitor and measure the success of our JBP Business Plan focusing on the jointly defined KPIs from both an achievement and reporting perspective.
- Manage Google view of pipeline including Deal Reg and Partner Advantage view.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on the status and impact of the Google Cloud partnership.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in strategic partnership management, business development, or a related role.
- Experience working with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud and keen interest in Artificial Intelligence.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing strategic alliances.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with both organizational and partner goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Relationship management: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Sales acumen: Understanding of sales processes and ability to support sales teams in achieving their targets.
- Technical aptitude: Understanding of cloud technologies and the ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms.
- Accountability: - Willingness to take ownership and an ability to drive to completion.
- Problem Solving Mindset - Required to lead and manage escalation and co-ordinate cross company teams.
