Position Overview:

The Grants Project Manager will manage a contract to manage the pre-award process for FRA's funding programs such as the Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvement (CRISI) Program, Federal State Partnership for Intercity Passenger Rail (FSP) Program and the Railroad Crossing Elimination (RCE) Program, among some other programs

Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management oversight to project panels.
  • Oversee the Notice of Funding (NOFO) Review Process Integrate several simultaneous NOFO review activities
  • Prepare and track grants through review and funding process.
  • Monitor timeliness, receipt and accuracy of grant applications, financial reporting documents and financial drawdowns.
  • Manage and oversee grant applications
  • Manage a team of 10 - 20 staff

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Management or equivalent degree
  • 3+ years' experience related to federal discretionary grants management
  • PMP Certification
  • 1+ year knowledge and experience with the administration of discretionary grants is required; with a preference for US DOT or US DOT FRA; Grants management lifecycle experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
