GRC Analyst (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)

Kind Lending, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Analyst to join our team. The GRC Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory requirements, manages risks effectively, and maintains robust governance practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GRC principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

In-Office/ Hybrid schedule available, fully remote for the right candidate!

Pay Disclosure:

The starting base salary pay range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Governance:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of governance frameworks and policies.
    • Monitor and report on governance compliance and performance metrics.
    • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of governance practices and recommend improvements.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
    • Conduct risk assessments and support the maintenance of risk registers.
    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management activities.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and controls.
    • Conduct compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Policy Management:
    • Develop, review, and update policies and procedures related to GRC.
    • Ensure policies are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization.
    • Monitor adherence to policies and address any issues of non-compliance.
  • Incident Management:
    • Assist in the investigation and resolution of compliance and risk incidents.
    • Document incidents, track corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and present reports on GRC activities, findings, and recommendations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of GRC processes and activities.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in GRC, risk management, compliance, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of GRC principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with GRC software and tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CGEIT) are a plus.
