Job Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Finance to join our finance team to support the WINKS group. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the underlying financials for the WINKS group business units which currently include six countries and seven legal entities. The role will system and process improvement, future acquisition integration and optimization and overall FP&A ownership for the WINKS group.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Assist in the development and execution of the Group's financial strategy to support overall business goals.


  • Act as a strategic partner to the Group VP of Finance and the rest of the Leadership Team, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.


2. System Integrity & Financial Systems Implementation

  • Assume full accountability for the integrity of financial systems, processes, and data across the Group.


  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and future scalability.


  • Oversee finance-related technology projects, collaborating with IT and operations to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and user adoption.


3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead the FP&A function, delivering robust forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes by reviewing and assisting the BUs and owning the Group shared services forecast.


  • Provide actionable insights through financial modeling, trend analysis, and performance benchmarking.


  • Enhance internal reporting processes to deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reports to stakeholders.


4. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration

  • Support due diligence and financial evaluation of potential acquisitions.


  • Develop and execute post-merger integration strategies, aligning acquired entities with Group financial processes and systems.


  • Ensure financial synergies are realized and integration milestones are tracked and achieved.


5. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the Portfolio, shareholders, and external stakeholders.


  • Liaise with external auditors, ensuring successful year-end audits and compliance reviews.


Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified accountant or related University education with 10+ years of financial leadership experience.


  • Proven experience leading financial systems implementation and managing complex system landscapes.


  • Demonstrated track record in M&A transactions and successful post-acquisition integration.


  • Strong expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, and strategic business analysis.


  • Experience in a multinational or complex group environment is preferred.


  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
