Summary
We are seeking a Growth and Optimization Analyst to enhance the fan shopping experience through A/B testing and data-driven insights in Promotion and Pricing Optimization. As the experimentation lead for promotions and pricing, you will collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Business Operations, and Analytics to design, execute, and analyze A/B tests that optimize engagement and conversion. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to improve promotional effectiveness, fine-tune pricing strategies, and deliver a seamless, rewarding fan experience.
Responsibilities
- Promo & Pricing Optimization: Develop and execute A/B testing strategies for promotional campaigns and dynamic pricing models to maximize conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and profitability.
- Experimentation: Lead the development of A/B and multivariate testing strategies focused on promo effectiveness, pricing sensitivity and UX features that drive pricing and promotional tactics throughout the website. Prioritize hypotheses, design experiments, and analyze results to inform business decisions.
- Pricing Strategy: Work closely with Product and Business teams to analyze pricing trends, elasticity, and competitive benchmarking. Recommend data-driven pricing strategies to enhance revenue growth.
- Data Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to monitor key performance metrics related to promo engagement and pricing effectiveness. Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner to Product Management, Business Operations, Marketing, and Analytics to align growth initiatives with business goals.
- Customer Insights: Leverage customer segmentation and behavioral data to tailor promotional offers, discounting strategies, and personalized pricing approaches as recommended A/B testing strategies.
- Campaign Performance Analysis: Partner with Marketing to evaluate the performance of promotions across channels (Email, Paid Media, SEO, etc.) and optimize for ROI and customer acquisition costs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, with a strong focus on promotional strategy, pricing optimization, conversion rate optimization (CRO), or growth marketing.
- Proven track record of developing and executing data-driven promotional and pricing strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar).
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Adobe Target, VWO, Google Optimize).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and familiarity with SEO, PPC, programmatic display, paid social, and email marketing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2C eCommerce, particularly in high-traffic, data-driven environments.
- Knowledge of dynamic pricing algorithms and promotional modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and personalization strategies.
