Details: Full time, Direct Hire Position
Onsite Position: In office Monday - Friday

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead projects for critical infrastructure and data center projects across the nation. This role involves managing complex initiatives related to thermal, power, battery, and monitoring products. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, capable of independently assembling and guiding teams to resolve intricate issues. This role is pivotal in establishing relationships and processes from pre-sales through equipment commissioning, ensuring a smooth and repeatable process.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize standard project management tools to effectively conduct projects, achieving quality, financial, and schedule targets.
  • Define and obtain necessary resources to fulfill project scope, collaborating with functional group leaders to develop the project organizational resource chart.
  • Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups, escalating potential conflicts to avoid impact on the customer.
  • Work closely with jobsite and field resources to ensure understanding and communication of the schedule, budget, and scope. Periodically visit sites to establish relationships with key contractor and customer personnel.
  • Escalate and create urgency around any issues that could impede project success, ensuring timely resolution and communication to stakeholders. Conduct effective meetings and presentations.
  • Identify risks and proactively mitigate them before they become issues.
  • Execute complex, high-value projects independently.
  • Follow reporting and tracking programs to ensure the project is on target for quality, schedule, and cost targets.
  • Oversee the financial performance of assigned projects, creating cost budgets, tracking and investigating spend, and maintaining established margins.
  • Establish a culture of safety for each project, hosting periodic safety meetings to ensure safety is always a priority.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
  • 5+ years of project management experience, with expertise in critical infrastructure (UPS, thermal, battery, and monitoring is a plus).
  • Knowledge of construction, electrical, and mechanical contracting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing processes, data center infrastructure, and commissioning processes.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Travel Requirements:
  • 25-30%
  • Variable schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
