GT OpenText Sr Developer - Erlanger, KY
This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:

ADM is seeking a development leader to assist in our ERP and cloud transformation and sustainment activities.
This role will be focused in OpenText technology, design, configuration & development and will build according to ADM and industry integration standards. We will utilize these standards to design solutions that meet operational requirements including scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability. The role is responsible for reviewing and performing the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of designs and provides oversight of applications.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the overall Integration development for solutions pertaining to the build out of the Enterprise OpenText ecosystem. This may include small to large scale complexities for various SDLC needs across Global Technology.
  • Work closely with technical, functional and architecture teams to understand the business requirements and plan technology architecture and solutions in line with OpenText and Integration best practices.
  • Leverages and promotes application integration strategies, standards, guidelines, patterns, and conventions as it relates to OpenText
  • Broad understanding of OpenText and Integration Patterns and cross-functional and technical integration aspects
  • Provide technology guidance, road-maps, principles, standards, and best practices
  • Provides oversight and coaching to team members
  • Perform code reviews and maintain development standards as necessary.
  • Works to establish a COE regarding OpenText
Required Skills/degree:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an OpenText Developer or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of OpenText Content Server, OpenText Extended ECM, and other OpenText products.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and other integration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ECM principles, document management, and records management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience with SAP and other Cloud or internal technologies is required.
  • Understanding how to deliver an Enterprise Content Management solution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in OpenText products is a plus
  • Prior experience with cloud technologies and/or application development platforms including PaaS, iPaas, Containers, Serverless Computing, APIs, Microservices and DevOps
  • Understanding of core concepts including content-based routing, message enrichment, message transformation, etc.
  • Knowledge of Web Services, XML, XSD , SOAP , JSON , REST and ODATA Services.
  • Knowledge of Security Standards - SSL, PGP, Encryption, SAML, OAuth etc.,
  • Knowledge of major communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, SOAP, TCPIP, JDBC, JMS etc.,
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to achieve business objectives - ~10%
Nice to Have:
  • Strong understanding of Application to Application integration, Application Architecture, Exposure to Data modeling and data architecture
  • Experience with configuration/automation technologies like Powershell, Terraform, ARM Templates, Biceps, Puppets
