Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Surgical Gynecology

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center

Your Role:
  • Key Player in the OR: Assist in diverse gynecological surgeries (hysterectomies, myomectomies, laparoscopic, minimally invasive).
  • Comprehensive Surgical Care: Pre-op to post-op management.
  • Expert Collaboration: Work closely with top-tier gynecologists.
  • Patient Experience: Compassionate care, education, and support.
  • On-Call Duties: Emergency gynecological support.


Outpatient Care:
  • Detailed patient evaluations (menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, fibroids, etc.).
  • Diagnosis & treatment, including family planning & menopause management.
  • Patient education & preventive care (pap smears, STI screenings).
  • Chronic condition management (endometriosis, PCOS).
  • Care coordination with specialists.


Inpatient Care:
  • Patient assessment & diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team (gynecologists, nurses, etc.).
  • Order & interpret tests (ultrasounds, labs).
  • Monitor patient progress & adjust treatment plans.
  • Patient education & discharge planning.


Qualifications:
  • MA Advanced Practice Provider license.
  • NP or PA certification.
  • MA controlled substance prescriptive authority & DEA registration.


Preferred:
  • Acute Care NP certification.
  • Strong surgical skills & attention to detail.
  • Compassionate patient care.
  • Flexibility & adaptability.
