Typical Day in the Role
Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to deliver custom analog and memory IPs, and work on test chip products for the next generation of products.
Key projects: This role will contribute to designing and creating the layout for analog mixed-signal circuits.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 80% heads down working, and 20% or less on meetings.
Candidate Requirements
Years of Experience Required: 3+ overall years of experience in the field.
Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
Disqualifiers: Candidates with exclusive experience with physical design will not be eligible for the role. This role focuses on custom/digital experience, experience exclusively with physical design will not be transferrable.
Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience with low-dropout (LDO) regulators, Bandgap Reference circuits, ADCs, DACs, Amplifiers, and CMOS technology.
Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines on a timeline that will be created together with the sponsor.

We are looking for a Senior Analog Mixed Signal Layout Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience and a proven track record in finfet technology, up to and including successful tapeout. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to define and adhere to a schedule and has extensive experience with all analog power blocks, including LDOs, Bandgaps, and load arrays.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the design team to create the best design and layout of analog mixed-signal circuits in deep finfet technology.
- Work independently to define project schedules and milestones and adhere to them diligently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize circuit performance and power efficiency.
- Perform physical verification of designs, including LVS, DRC, and ERC using industry-standard tools.
- Willing to provide mentorship and guidance to junior layout engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
