Description
The hardware engineer will be part of the team designing the iPad accessories. The engineer will be involved on those accessories from the architecture stage, to the design and validation phase, all the way until the products get released to customers, working on the following.
Schematic capture and handling PCB layout design of the electrical system, including power management, micro-controller, wireless communication, sensor integration and component selection.
Execution of the design in high-volume, including characterization and validation across all development builds.
Authoring of detailed engineering requirements specifications.
Working with and leading suppliers/manufacturing partners including overseas build support.
Work with and present to cross-functional leaders for project reviews and discussions.
