In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of mixed signal hardware systems, with a primary focus on hardware board design. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and scalable hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mixed signal circuitry, including analog and digital components.
- Select and specify appropriate components and parts based on design requirements.
- Lead and contribute to hardware board design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype validation.
- Perform testing, debugging, and verification of hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Work collaboratively with software, mechanical, and test engineers to support seamless hardware-software integration.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
- Stay current with emerging hardware technologies and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mixed signal circuit design.
- Strong understanding of PCB layout principles, hardware debugging, and validation techniques.
- Proficient in using hardware design and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, SPICE).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with high-speed digital design, signal integrity, and power integrity analysis.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., FCC, CE) and EMI/EMC design considerations.
- Experience working in regulated industries or with product certification processes.
