In this role, you will design, develop, and test hardware solutions for electronic components, ensuring they meet product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits to meet functional and performance requirements.
- Create PCB layouts, working closely with layout engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards and optimize design for manufacturability.
- Develop test plans, perform validation tests, and troubleshoot hardware issues to ensure product reliability and quality.
- Select appropriate electronic components for designs, considering performance, cost, and availability.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, layout drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and design specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., IPC, IEC, UL) and regulatory requirements.
- Work with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to integrate hardware solutions, supporting system-level testing and debugging.
- Contribute to design and process improvements, focusing on cost reduction, performance optimization, and product reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in hardware design, testing, and validation.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCAD).
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, including power supplies, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, LTspice) for circuit analysis and validation.
- Hands-on experience with testing and debugging tools, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Familiarity with signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and thermal considerations in hardware design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to troubleshoot and optimize designs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical information clearly.
