Your Role

The Head of Engineering and Maintenance is accountable for all aspects of engineering and maintenance activities within manufacturing operations at the Danvers, MA site, setting the strategic vision for the engineering and maintenance function to drive long-term operational efficiency and success aligned with organizations' overall objectives.

In particular the role fosters improvement innovation initiatives integrating where appropriate new or cutting edge technologies, developing equipment reliability engineering capabilities, while ensuring minimizing downtime across the site. It is ensuring adherence to company procedures, policies and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role involves managing the function's budget, managing risks and leading mitigation initiatives. It fosters a culture of collaboration, safety, innovation and continuous improvement through role-model leadership behaviors.

This position is a full-time on-site position located in Danvers, MA.

  • Develop and communicate a strategic vision for the engineering and maintenance team
  • Manage and oversee complex engineering and maintenance projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
  • Foster collaboration between engineering & maintenance and other departments to align activities with organizational goals
  • Have an understanding of advanced maintenance concepts (PdM,CBM,AR for Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, TPM, RCM etc)
  • Implement talent development and succession planning programs for the team


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Engineering, manufacturing technology or equivalent
  • 8 or more years progressive technical leadership experience. Regulated industry a plus.
  • Proficient in Lean and Six Sigma concept and tools
  • Regulatory Compliance and Governance: Thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements and the ability to ensure all maintenance activities meet or exceed these standards.
  • Advanced Budgeting and Financial Acumen: Proficiency in developing and managing large-scale budgets and CAPEX, controlling costs, and making strategic financial decisions.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS Degree in Engineering, manufacturing technology or equivalent
  • 6 plus years progressive technical leadership experience.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt)
