Duties and Responsibilities
This role will oversee all aspects of product management and development team leadership, and drive the growth and adoption of Arrow in the telecom sector, with a strong focus on fiber network planning and expansion. The Head of Product will be responsible for defining and executing Arrow's product vision to meet the evolving needs of network operators, engineering teams, and investors.
The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in telecom network planning, particularly in fiber deployment, and will bridge the gap between technical development, market strategy, and customer needs.

Location: Boston, MA, New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, or Los Angeles, CA preferred
Compensation: $272,000 - $330,000 + performance bonus 35-45%

- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and evolve Arrow's product strategy to align with the challenges of fiber network planning, deployment, and expansion.
- Own and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring prioritization reflects real-world telecom planning challenges.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape in fiber and broadband infrastructure expansion.
- Product Development & Execution
- Lead a team of engineers and designers to develop features that support geospatial planning, financial modeling, and deployment optimization for fiber networks.
- Ensure efficient, high-quality product development processes, leveraging agile and Shape Up methodologies.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to translate operator needs, municipal permitting constraints, and cost modeling requirements into actionable product features.
- Client & Market Engagement
- Act as the key product evangelist, engaging directly with telecom operators, ISPs, and fiber infrastructure investors in coordination with the Arrow sales team.
- Work with sales, marketing, and consulting teams to ensure Arrow's positioning resonates with network planners, engineering leads, and strategy teams.
- Collaborate with Arrow's sales lead to drive adoption and revenue growth within Tier 1, Tier 2, and regional fiber providers.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and grow the product and engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with consulting teams working on fiber market strategies, feasibility studies, and business case modeling.
- Own budgeting and resource planning for the product and development teams.
Qualifications
- Deep telecom industry experience, particularly in fiber network planning, deployment, and investment strategies.
- Proven ability to define product strategy, lead development teams, and drive business impact.
- Experience with geospatial tools, business case modeling, or financial analysis for network planning.
- Strong understanding of fiber deployment economics, cost structures, permitting processes, and competitive dynamics.
- Hands-on experience working with technical teams, including software engineers, GIS analysts, and data scientists.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with regulatory policies, broadband funding programs, and competitive landscape within fiber infrastructure is a plus.
Experience/Education
- 10+ years of experience in telecom network planning, fiber deployment, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in product management within a SaaS, GIS, or network planning platform.
- Strong background in a technical field such as engineering, telecom planning, or geospatial analytics.
- Experience working directly with network operators, engineering teams, or investment groups in fiber expansion.
- MBA or equivalent experience in business strategy, leadership, and market development is a plus.
