Our new Head of Project Execution will be ensuring seamless execution of all NNE projects. The Head of Project Execution will also be ensuring an appropriate number of resources with competencies proactively matching the project pipeline. In coordination, the Head of Project Execution will be part of the Senior Leadership team and responsible for the strategic direction of NNE US as an organization.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

How you might spend your days

As Head of Project Execution, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you'll be:
  • Responsible for Project Work and Team Leadership, as this role is a combination of approximately 70% work on project execution and/or overseeing ongoing projects and 30% on team leadership
  • Providing management, leadership, and strategic vision for the Project Execution leadership team and department
  • Ensuring efficient communication and cooperation with customer's project team and stakeholders, specifically all committees are informed about project status, challenges, risks and mitigating actions
  • Creating training, capacity building processes and training modules to promote project management best practices
  • Responsible for executing the Project Execution department strategy in support of the NNE US overall strategy together with financial success of the department
  • Developing and retaining relevant competencies to ensure successful execution of NNE projects in adherence with the NNE execution model
  • Maintaining regular touchpoint meetings with your Team to ensure an exciting work environment with focus on individual development plans as well as objectives and key results that support personal, professional and company growth
  • Responsible for recruiting and/or training resources to meet the needs of the customer
  • Involved in phases including conceptual, basic, detailed design, construction, commissioning and hand-over
  • Communicating to and engaging with the team and the NNE US organization
  • Assisting in sales activities together with other leadership members

The miles you've walked

To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Technical Discipline or Business Management
  • Minimum 10 Years' experience with project management in a regulated environment
  • Minimum 5 Years' experience with strategy execution and people management
  • Experience with managing multi-discipline projects including timeline and resource oversight
  • PMP or similar certification is considered as a bonus
