We are currently seeking a Head of Quality, reporting directly to the hiring manager to join our Quality team based in Houston, Texas, USA.

Position Description

The Head of Quality Cluster OC will report to the Global Quality Director.

He/ She will lead the Quality management within his/her Cluster Operating center and will manage all Quality activities (projects and structure) to ensure Quality delivery on timely manner, in compliance with Standards, Quality and Customer requirements

Responsibilities

LEAD
  • Promote and enhance Quality culture within his/her Cluster Operating centers through the follow-up of implementation of QUARTZ program.
  • Support/influence senior management, peers, and subordinates to achieve Quality objectives
  • Perform and promote QHSES leadership visits within site/office
  • Launch and Participate to Quality Campaign and promotion
  • Develop the skills/career path of the Quality team,
  • Ensure knowledge and feedback culture across all Cluster OC
  • Enforces Quality Culture within T. EN Suppliers / Sub-Contractors
  • Ensure cascading and implementation of Client and T. EN Quality requirements throughout T. EN supply chain.
  • Promote the "Zero Inspection Program" on new Projects (through Project Quality Plan, Quality induction, Quality commercial offer...)


COLLABORATE
  • Foster collaboration across TEN (Digiteam, Risk, Construction, Engineering, Procurement, operational performance...)
  • Leads local coordination of the overall One Quality organization (VPM, Engineering

Quality, PQM, SQM...)

DELIVER
  • Contribute to and Deploy the Global Quality Strategy and ensure it deployment with Cluster OC.
  • Shape processes, standards & procedures (Project Quality / Site Quality) specific to the OC Cluster Quality Management System and implement it.
  • Conduct Quality management reviews with all required stakeholders
  • Conduct Context Analysis Enterprise Risk Management with associated Risk manager.
  • Ensure ISO 9001 & other Certification of the Operating centers and related business.
  • Provide Quality support and expertise at any stage of the project lifecycle (from quotation to Engineering, Procurement, Construction and operations)
  • Plan and allocate Quality resources as per mobilization plan for each project (main OC as well as subcontracted OC)
  • Ensure Data reporting within INTELEX tool
  • Report Key Performance Indicators (KPI) through OC Quality Dashboard, analyze performance and establish trends and transversal analysis. Report it out to Quality group Level


STOP
  • Participate in Site Excellence audit/ Quality Cold Eye review as necessary
  • Promote a risk-based approach in audit management
  • Ensure/Perform internal audits as per plan


LEARN
  • Ensure implementation of Feedback and Lesson Learnt process within yard ensuring a focus on data Quality aspect.
  • Lead Global/Local Quality Alert cycle until its closure. Participate and follow-up issuance and resolution of Quality Alert.


IMPROVE
  • Lead or participate in investigations to resolve quality issues by providing technical expertise particularly through a root cause failure analysis (RCA) and propose preventive actions,
  • Conduct Business improvement initiative as required


Must have:
  • Operational experience in a production environment, inspection, auditing, knowledge of manufacturing processes, statistical quality engineering, inspection, auditing, calibration, data analysis techniques or equiv.,
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Solution oriented, quality minded and proactive approach on all issues
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with different stakeholders, including employees, management, and customers.
  • Creative
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Basic Knowledge of standards (ASTM, EN), welding, NDE, machining and painting,

Nice to have:
  • Operational experience as Head of Quality, or Quality Manager on EPC projects.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.


Minimum education level:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management or a related role, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
