Freudenberg Performance Materials LP (USA)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the US region Quality Control Departments, including Managers, Quality Engineers, Technicians, QC Lab, APDL Lab.
- Lead the Continuous Improvement of Product Quality through the life cycle from new products to manufacturing
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System requirements, IATF and ISO Certifications
- Set the Quality Objectives and Goals for the Sites
- Drive improvement in Customer Quality and feedback, visit Customers as needed to address and improve quality
- Monitor and improve the Total Cost of Quality, which includes both Internal and External Costs
- Work with cross-functional teams to focus quality efforts, identify root causes, corrective and preventive actions
- Participate as a member of the regional Management Team, reporting on Quality trends and developing Quality Strategy
- Responsible for Supplier Quality which also includes outside processes, convertors, pass thru, etc.
- Collaborate with other Freudenberg sites to identify and implement Best Practices
Qualifications:
- 4-year Bachelor's degree in a Technical field is required
- 5 years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment, Nonwovens and Textiles experience preferred
- At least 3 years of management experience at a similar level
- Certified six sigma black belt
- Knowledge of ISO and IATF Standards
