Head of Reporting & Analytics senior VP level
Key Responsibilities:
12 Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the organization's reporting and analytics strategy to align with business objectives.
Serve as a thought leader in analytics innovation, leveraging emerging trends to enhance business insights.
13 Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring analytics initiatives meet business needs.
Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex data insights into actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
14 Operational Excellence:
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools to provide actionable insights.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all reporting outputs and data processes.
15 Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of data analysts, reporting specialists, and data scientists.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
16 Data Governance and Quality:
Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Drive initiatives to improve data quality, availability, and accessibility across the organization.
17 Performance Measurement:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of reporting and analytics initiatives.
Continuously evaluate and enhance processes to optimize efficiency and impact.
Qualifications & Skills:
18 Education:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
19 Experience:
12+ years of experience in reporting and analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the P&C insurance industry.
Proven track record of driving data-driven decision-making and business outcomes.
20 Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAS) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
Strong understanding of P&C insurance products, underwriting, claims, and regulatory requirements.
21 Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment.
