The principal responsibilities for this role include overseeing global health and safety programs, including online training and program development. The candidate will maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Management System, managing contracts, software, labeling, and DOT shipping requirements globally. They will conduct research to prevent health and safety issues and develop compliance programs. Supporting the EHS Coordinator and managing responsibilities from the EHS Director is essential. The role involves interfacing with regulatory agencies and insurance providers, staying updated on health and safety laws in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Europe, and assessing the health, safety, and environmental impacts of new products and projects. Reporting health and safety issues, overseeing risk reduction, and updating management are key tasks. The candidate will provide health and safety information to internal and external customers, conduct and administer health, safety, and environmental training, and administer the worker's compensation program with HR. They will also manage employee medical monitoring and respirator examination programs, conduct safety inspections, audits, and Process Hazard Analysis, and create and maintain regulatory health and safety programs. Performing EHS supplier audits, monitoring contracted security functions, ordering and stocking safety supplies, coordinating with contractors on fire system testing and capital projects, assisting with environmental regulatory programs, and performing various tasks that may change on short notice are also part of the job.

Must Haves: - Bachelors Degree - Ideally Chemical Engineering, but can be Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. - Management experience/Leadership Skills - Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. - Training and Experience in Health/Safety issues within a manufacturing setting Nice to Haves: - Certifications: PE, CSP, CIT, RSO (these are not needed, but would be a plus)
