Job Requirements

Ideal candidates should have experience working with private equity funds, independent sponsors, and portfolio companies in connection with M&A transactions and capital raises. Candidates should also have experience drafting operating and partnership agreements, and attending to the day-to-day needs of portfolio companies. Candidates should possess a strong academic background, superior drafting and research skills, experience negotiating important transaction documents, the ability to draft M&A transaction documents, and the candidates should be diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, team-oriented, and personable. Candidates must be admitted to the Colorado Bar and should be willing to participate in community and professional organizations as part of professional development.

Practice Summary

Greenberg Traurig's Health Care & FDA Practice is recognized for handling transactional, litigation, regulatory, product approval, enforcement, and compliance matters for organizations across many diverse industries. We offer clients practical know-how that comes from firsthand experience working in their industries and in their regulatory circles. Our interdisciplinary team has the experience and scope of knowledge needed to steer our clients ahead in an ever-evolving, dynamic health care space.

Our team advises clients across the health care spectrum - providers, suppliers, investors, and lenders alike - and guides them through the marketplace. We proactively partner with clients and strategically advise them at all stages, from working on legislation and policy, to handling mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, to licensure and survey assistance, to reimbursement, to enforcement actions and other regulatory compliance. Our attorneys advise, serve, and advocate on matters related to fraud and abuse, self-referral, HIPAA, insurance, and managed care, among numerous other areas.

GT comes to the table with hands-on experience with the many legal issues surrounding products regulated by the FDA. We advise companies that manufacture and market such products and regularly shepherd clients' registrations, approvals, and clearances through the proper channels, and provide advice on crucial issues, such as product labels and labeling requirements. We work with companies on regulatory requirements relating to food safety, food labeling, and other requirements relating to food and dietary supplements.

The expected pay range for this position is:

$195,000-$210,000 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
