Description

MedHealth is hiring a full time, experienced Nurse to supervise the healthcare staff at the Fayette County Detention Center in Somerville, Tenneessee

The County Jail holds inmates with misdemeanor sentences as well as detainees awaiting trial or sentencing. Inmates with longer sentences or more violent, felony convictions, will be held temporarily pending a transfer to state prison.

The Schedule for this position is Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise nursing staff to provide optimal patient care

- Uphold inmate rights and ensure compliance with all regulations

- Utilize in-depth physiology knowledge to guide nursing practices

- Lead nursing administration functions within the facility

- Coordinate nurse management activities for efficient operations

-Ensure staffing coverage
