Salary Range: $37.3800 - $57.4600 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Hemodynamic Technologist level two is responsible for providing assistance to physicians, anesthesiologists, and staff in performing physiological monitoring, auto transfusion services, point of care, and laboratory testing. Assists during intubation and line placement. Responsible for care, cleaning, and handling anesthesia equipment. Coordination of care for patients requiring cardiopulmonary monitoring and provides anesthesia support services. Maintains supplies for processes. Takes inventory, orders and stocks anesthesia carts. Supports the mission of Perioperative Services Division by being an image of professionalism through communication, appearance and conduct. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental and hospital standards, policies and procedures.
The Hemodynamic Tech II demonstrates competency after one year of procedures, skills, equipment usage and cardiovascular cases. Performs duties above with higher level of training, skill, and expertise.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology, instrumentation, and supplies
- Intermediate skills in Intra Operative Auto transfusion
- Intermediate skills in invasive hemodynamic monitoring, insertion, removal, patient transportation and monitoring of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IAPB)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Hemodynamic Technologist role within peri-operative services or completed Respiratory Therapy Program
- Experience providing guidance and/or training to other technicians preferred
License Required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist/RT Licensure; or
- LVN license; or
- CER A. TT- Anesthesia Technologist (detailed below)
Certifications Required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Certified Anesthesia Technician/Technologist designated by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists & Technicians (ASATT), to be obtained within two years of hire
Certifications Preferred
- IV Certification
